Canine Influenza

There is an outbreak of canine influenza in Birmingham. Vaccines are available for H3N8 and H3N2 and are administered in two shots two weeks apart. We are now requiring ALL dogs attending Lucky Dog Daycare or Boarding at Osborne Animal Clinic to be vaccinated for this very serious influenza.

Canine Influenza
Due to a breakout of canine influenza in Birmingham, we are taking several measures to get ahead of the surge in our state. We are REQUIRING all dogs attending Lucky Dog Daycare or boarding at Osborne Animal Clinic be vaccinated for this virus. Dogs will NOT be allowed in daycare or boarding after August 19, 2022, unless vaccinated.
The initial vaccine is $46.50 with a follow-up vaccine in two-three weeks of $46.50. Then annual boosters. Eligible for canine a minimum of 9 weeks or older in good health.
